A riverside wedding by the Ganges. We captured the couple's morning rituals, the boat ceremony, and the evening celebration under the stars—with a focus on family and the natural landscape.

The story
Akshay and Nisha chose Rishikesh for its spiritual calm and the Ganges as the witness to their union. We arrived before dawn to capture the morning puja at the ashram, with mist rising off the river.
The boat ceremony was the centrepiece: the couple on a decorated boat, family and friends on the ghats, and the Himalayas in the distance. We used multiple cameras to cover both the intimate moments on the boat and the wider landscape.
The evening reception under the stars brought together Indian and Western elements—live music, lanterns, and a first dance that had everyone on their feet. We closed the film with a drone shot of the river at twilight.
